And, for an extra special twist, apparently I am the only woman alive who could mistake a yeast infection for water breaking + bloody show. All together now: EEEEEeeeeeeew.
41 weeks, 3 days. Next appointment: Monday.
Next coherent post: Soon, I hope.
soon, soon, soon. He will come out soon.

aarrgghh!! The waiting is horrible. I drove my midwife crazy asking her how much longer this was going to take! Hope the next few days are zen for you, and Beta makes a speedy and healthy arrival.

- I didn't even know I was having contractions with my first baby! I'd been riding around in a semi (old kind- no air suspension) all day and just thought the twinges were from being jostled and bumped! I had a little seepage, but again figured it was the baby bouncing on my bladder. Called my mom (a nurse) and she told me to call my doctor who calmly said he'd meet me at the hospital!

One way or another, it will be soon and your baby will be in your arms instead of your womb. Lots of wishes for an easy birth, and especially that it starts soon!

Ok, so they miss judged your due date. trust me, you will know when your water breaks. Just lay around, read, snack, nap and blog girl. It will be soon enough. And then you go, hey I could have rested before all of this!! I wonder which will be worse: 1L finals or this. Wonder if you can be more sleep deprived?

I had expected to find your post when I returned from the hospital saying that our kids had been born on the same day...Oh my goodness. I do hope that Beta comes soon.

Wow, that really sucks... as if you're not uncomfortable enough! Well, don't worry about the day too much. I know you're anxious, but it will start when you're both ready. I read an entry about due dates on another blog (http://rixarixa.blogspot.com/2007/09/due-dates.html) that may set your mind at ease about being over 40 weeks. According to that, you're only 2 days over the average--firsties, especially, are notoriously late. All my mommy friends were 41+ weeks on their first babies.
*sitting and waiting with you... on the Internets*

Hang in there. I'm so glad they haven't made you ride the inducement express yet!
We're always up for walkies if you want more company while you wait...but I'll make you tightly clasp a toddler's hand. :-)

Geez, you must be miserable. Here's hoping you go into labor before your appointment tomorrow!

I know you're not joking because you wouldn't joke about something like this, but my first response was still "you're joking!" Oy. Hang in there.
