My current hair situation is nothing short of horrid. HORRID:
Now, I have a date with a lovely hair salon next week while Clanna (!!!!!!!) is in town to watch Hurricane Tavy while I get my hair did. I usually go my own color, but I'm really craving serious highlights, and since that worked so well last time at home (see horrid, awful home hair color that induced labor), I thought I would splurge on getting it done at the salon. I can't decide exactly what look I'm going for. Here are a few images that are inspiring me right now. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Choice A: I'm thinking that I would need less golden tones given my rosacea, but LOVE:
Choice B: I'm tempted to go this radical, but would probably use one of the other cuts unless you can make an argument for me and bangs becoming close personal friends.
Choice C: I'm digging the cut, but it might be too high maintence for me. Am I going to need a blow dry and product EVERYDAY? Cause no. Also, adding much more visible highlights?
Choice D: Radical, but do you see how totally happy, confident, and in love with her fluffy self this woman is? I'm VERY tempted to just go for it and top it off with radical highlights. Talk me out of or into it.

the first one is the only one you should consider. Ask your stylist which color highlights go with your skin tone.

I liked choice A best, myself.

numero uno!

I'm going with number one, with a caveat. If you are willing to straighten it everyday, number two would be super cute and shocking for summer, but really works best straight and chunky, and your hair has stubborn curl like mine. So, if you're looking to rely solely on the cut-n-colour for your pick-me-up, go number one. I'm so excited! Let's do a photo shoot!

Um, just a quick semi-evil note: That last lady? Her hair is really sparse, like you can see her scalp. So unless you plan on plucking out half your hair, skip that one. Fluffy is fine, balding is less so. I'm a bitch.

I like choice A. I am going to try and get my hair cut soon also. Can't dye it again yet due to baby growing inside and all...but I tried going to new hair salon, not wanting to drive over an hour to last stylist. OMG, awful, terrible. Willing to drive 90 min from now on if necessary to get to someone who can do hair correctly!!! Must have my hair somewhat fixed for fat belly & birth photos.

I'm prejudiced to "C", because I got that cut myself a year or so ago and loved it! I have a bob variation of it now. I'm not a high-maintenance hair chick and didn't find it hard to do. But A is cute, too.

hmmm I'm all for A or B. I like the drastic highlights too! I saw a woman at the mall the other day with EXTREME contrast, for about two seconds I considered having it done myself, but I have played with color many times before and know myself well enough to know I am TERRIBLE at color maintenance :) lol
